Iris Swiderski, MPAS, PA-C, joins Space Coast Vascular Surgery as a Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant (PA). Iris completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After completing her master’s degree and becoming a nationally certified physician assistant (PA), Iris received additional training in surgery, surgical subspecialties, and critical care as part of the Surgical PA Residency program at Montefiore Medical Center in New York. Clinical interests include promoting healthy lifestyle changes, stroke prevention, limb preservation, and advancements in medical technology to improve patient safety and overall quality of care.
Iris previously practiced as a vascular and endovascular surgery PA in New York at North Shore Long Island Jewish (LIJ) Health System, now Northwell Health, St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn, St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, and Crystal Run Healthcare in Middletown. As an emergency medicine PA, Iris practiced at Stony Brook University Medical Center and New York Presbyterian Queens.
Iris is a member of the Society of Vascular Surgery (SVS) PA section, the American Academy of PAs (AAPA), Florida Academy of Physician Assistants (FAPA), and New York State Society of Physician Assistants (NYSSPA). Iris maintains active medical licensure to practice as a PA in the states of New York, Florida and Pennsylvania.
